Artists: Jacqueline Crewe-Brown

Jacqueline was born in England, but raised and educated in Uganda and Kenya.

She graduated from Michaelis School of Art, University of Cape Town, South Africa and did part time studies at Sir John Cass, London during the 70’s – lithography and painting. She returned to South Africa and settled in Johannesburg for a while. She started painting with Joyce Leonard, Ann Lindsell Stuart and Toni Anne Ballendon, and began painting full time in the 90’s.


Her work is represented in several private and public collections in South Africa and abroad.
